Brexit: The wheels are falling off ... we need an option to stay in EU

The Brexit negotiations are not going well.

Every day we are seeing more and more evidence of this Tory government trying to gloss over the panic - 50-plus studies of the impact of Brexit are being hidden from us [since this story was released, (only) some have now been released, heavily redacted].

Brexit negotiator David Davis has sent threatening letters to Liberal Democrat Leader, Sir Vince Cable MP, complaining about our MEP voting her conscience on this important issue.

Ratings agency Moody's recently downgraded the UK's credit rating, while we appear to be racing headlong towards a disastrous crash out of the European Union, which will cause severe problems for jobs and our economy. Against this backdrop, the government continues to ignore calls for further consultation with the British people about our future outside the EU.

Many of our constituents voted for Brexit on the promise of a better deal for Britain.

What we are seeing now is that people were sold a false bill of goods. If you, too, are worried about this litany of broken promises, join us to pressure the government to ensure we have the option of an 'Exit from Brexit'. www.libdems. org.uk/exit-brexit.
