RBS and School Parking proposals / Eastwood Community Centre

Parking

It would take a brave warden to put a ticket on this badly parked car

RBS and School Parking

Lib Dem Councillors Carole and Ted are demanding more on-site parking for RBS employees.New parking restrictions will also be introduced to discourage inconsiderate parking around Prince Avenue School

The restrictions will affect Denton Avenue, North and South Crescent and neighbouring roads.

Community policeman PC Gale has asked residents to take photos of illegally or badly parked cars, especially near schools, and contact him on 01702 423182. Legal action will be taken against repeat offenders

Community Centre

Interior Community Centre

The community centre in the car park at Morrisons in Western Approaches has been kept open largely due to the efforts of Cllrs Carole Roast and Graham Longley.

Together they maintain the premises and organise the bookings.

The centre provides a venue for weddings, quizzes, child minding, jumble sales and many other events that bring together the whole St Laurence Community.
